NC ART is a non-profit organization run solely by volunteers. It is not affiliated with,
or funded by, ANY county or state emergency agencies. All of the equipment,
gas and insurance used to provide the response efforts is raised from our rescue contributions and private donations.
Western NC Relief Efforts
NC ART has been assisting with relief efforts in Western NC, by providing hay for cows and horses. During our most recent trip on 2/1 - 2/2, we asked what was needed most for the animals and humane. The hay bank at Red Bell Run Sanctuary requested all purpose feed for horses, cows, goats and sheep. Each bag is $17.99 from Tractor Supply.

At the distribution site in Clyde, NC, they requested 8 foot chain link fencing to put around their donation site as they are out in the open and need protection from looters.
